120 was an excellent student house, and Sonya and Ross are great and very responsive landlords. Issues such as the microwave or oven breaking were sorted promptly, including by getting us an air fryer when the oven couldn't be replaced for a few days, and the occasional upgrades e.g. bringing an extra picnic table to the house later in the year were much appreciated. Rooms, kitchen, and living room are nice and large enough, and the extra storage space was a huge plus. Neighbors are lovely on both sides, location and parking are convenient, and the garden is by far the best of any student house we'd seen. Overall highly recommend.Marshall Bowles

Our year at 120 Alan Moss Rd was exactly what we were hoping for. The house is spacious, has everything you need and is in a great location with good parking. Sonya is a really approachable and proactive landlord, who not only gets things sorted quickly but also does so in a friendly and helpful way. When they say they aim for the house to be "a home away from home", they really mean it as that is exactly what it is!Josie Savage

The stay at Alan Moss Road was comfortable all year long. All the rooms and communal area were at a good standard with little to no problem. The area feels very safe and was never at any point worried about safety. What made the experience stand out to me was the landlords, they were very on it and responsible. If there was any problem it was solved ASAP and they were always constantly trying to improve the experience. This I don't feel like you get from most landlord.Joshua Oluwatosin

Sonya and Ross have simply been phenomenal landlords. Whenever we had an issue it was resolved in the fastest possible time and they never randomly showed up without giving us notice. I have nothing negative to say.Chris Murphy

Overall my stay at 120 Alan moss Road was ideal, especially as a final year student looking to escape the cramped terraces in the student triangle. For example, the house boasts a well kept garden (with a pub bench), a modern kitchen area, 4 good sized rooms kitted with desks and two bathrooms. It was also within a 10 min walk of both the uni and Lidl.
In addition my stay was made easy thanks to the professional and friendly attitude that Sonya (landlady) has. This is clear in the pride she takes in keeping her tenants happy and dealing with problems quickly. Once again my stay was ideal and I recommend staying here as it ticks off everything needed for a student. Ethan Connelly

120 Alan Moss road is a brilliant student house close to both town and the university. It has a great BBQ space that was well used in the hot days by me and my three housemates, and is a high quality house with a good kitchen, bike storage, bedrooms and parking all at a reasonable price. We all enjoyed staying in this house and had a great year made better by having a lovely house to relax and hold pre drinks in. This was also helped by the landlady, Sonya, who is extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions or queries you may have about the house, having a friendly landlord instead of an agency was a big plus of staying at this house. Sonya is also constantly seeking to improve the house for tenants such as the BBQ area that was added the year before us and reworking rooms to provide spacious bedrooms for everyone, as well as improving the driveway and front garden. She is always open to listening to any improvements that could be made to the house. I would recommend this house to anyone and would give it 5 stars. Cameron Hargreaves

I and my two housemates had the pleasure of living at 120 Alan Moss Road in 2016/2017 under the landlords, Sonya and Ross. As landlords, you could not ask for anyone more down to earth or understanding. The modernisation of the kitchen before the start of my tenancy was a much needed uplift for the property. They also installed a downstairs cloakroom complete with a tumble dryer, making parties and general living easier. In addition, the removal of the washing machine out of the kitchen improved cupboard space considerably. During the tenancy, the garden was also updated, adding a smart BBQ area and bench as well as a large gravelled area which again improved summer parties. They also added exterior motion lights improving security. Sonya and Ross listen to all your needs and are always there if you have an emergency. They also listen to all improvements you put forward to them; a good example is the widening of the driveway (it was very tight before!) They also understand all aspects of the house and are easily approachable if you do anything wrong, because we all know accidents happen! For the house, I don't think you will find a cheaper alternative for the quality you are receiving. It massively stands out against the other student houses and is fully recommended if you want larger rooms and 3 parking spaces! It's a 10 minute walk to spoons and the union. If you are an engineering student then a bike is recommended, but using the alleyways it only takes 10 minutes to get to West Park. I have to say, I was sceptical about the main road outside, but being set back from the road and with the double glazing, you don't even notice you are there. Also, introduce yourselves to the neighbours! They are understanding and know it's a student house. They don't get hooked up on parties as long as you give them warning and on the odd occasion they even have parties that outlast your own! Whoever has the opportunity to rent 120 Alan Moss Road will thoroughly enjoy it. It's a really nice house and I expect that they would want to maintain a contract for the length of their degree. Sonya and Ross are down to earth and let you be yourself. They don't encroach or put you in awkward positions. My year in the house was not far short of perfect and I hope the same can be said for whoever rents it next! Kyran Yeatman

Although Sonya became our landlady half way through the tenancy, she soon got up to speed with handling any issues and difficulties we had. She rapidly dealt with issues such as faulty tumble driers and was always a quick email away if we had any other questions. She added a very personal touch to our encounters and was very happy to chat whenever she visited. I would happily recommend her to other students looking for a landlady with a quick and personal response, and with a safety and guarantee that you are being looked after.Jack Tilley
